Lyu Xianggeng, born in 1962, holds a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature, and is a senior high school teacher. He is a specially appointed calligraphy instructor at the Ningde Elderly University. Member of the Ningde Calligraphy Association, Ningde Arts and Crafts Association, and Ningde Elderly Painting and Calligraphy Society. Calligraphy philosophy: Faithful to tradition, inheriting and innovating. On January 1, 1997, he received the third prize in the "First National Chinese Character Writing Competition". In September 1998, he received the outstanding award in the "First Faculty and Staff Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" of Fujian Province. In December 1998, he received the third prize in the Ningde City "Welcome the New Millennium, Faculty and Staff Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition". In June 2003, he received the outstanding award in the poetry category of the 4th "Tengwang Pavilion Cup" National Literature and Art Works Grand Prize. In November 2003, he received the outstanding teacher guidance award in the "10th Patriotic Education Reading Activity" of Fujian Province. In July 2016, his work was selected for the "9th China Chongyang Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition". In September 2016, his work was exhibited at the "7th Cross-Strait Elderly Painting and Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition". In October 2016, his work was included in the "Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers Directory". In January 2017, his work was permanently collected by the "Yangtze River Civilization Museum".
