Zhu Liguo, a member of the Fujian branch of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Art, is the president of Nantai Jiangjun Painting and Calligraphy Academy. He graduated from the Liaoning College of Fine Arts, majoring in traditional Chinese figure painting, later worked in enterprise publicity creating portraits and stories of notable figures. Subsequently, he focused on landscape painting series and held a personal landscape exhibition arranged by the Fujian branch of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Art at the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys.
Zhu Liguo's landscape paintings are rooted in the study of the traditional "Four Wangs" of the Qing dynasty, while absorbing stylistic elements from modern painters such as Zhang Daqian, Wu Hufan, and He Haixia. He seamlessly integrates line work with expressive freehand brushwork, transforming the spiritual and material aspects of nature to express the aesthetic beauty of landscape painting.In his bird-and-flower paintings, influenced by Confucianism and Chinese religious thought, he primarily paints lotuses supplemented by other artistic forms, expressing the lofty spirit and moral faith. Upholding ideals of freedom and independence, avoiding mediocrity, he uses a long, profound process and religious belief to convey the painter’s life journey and serve society!
