Personal Profile
Chi Jiabin, courtesy name Mochi, art name Sanye Yicheng. A member of the Communist Party of China, he graduated from Jimei University with a bachelor's degree and a bachelor's diploma. He inherited family traditions in calligraphy from an early age and later studied under renowned calligrapher Zhong Yansheng, recipient of the National Calligraphy Instruction Award, and Mr. Zhang Huaqing, Chairman of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association and professor at Tsinghua University.
He has been interviewed and featured by "Study Power," the United Front Work Department of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC, Fujian Education Television, Sanming Municipal Education Bureau, the Communist Youth League Committee of Sanming City, Sanming Municipal Culture, Radio, Film, Television and Press Bureau, Sanming Broadcasting and Television Station, Sanming Daily, Sanming Media Center, Sanming Traffic Radio FM1056, Sina Sanming, Ninghua Online, and Ninghua Hakka People.
Master Chi has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood and has devoted himself to studying regular script, running script, and clerical script, meticulously researching form and structure while drawing widely from diverse styles to develop his unique artistic expression. His characters exhibit elegant bone structure, graceful fluidity, and free-flowing elegance. As a young calligrapher, Master Chi is deeply admired by his students and serves as both a mentor and friend. With years of experience in calligraphy education, he has repeatedly led his students to outstanding achievements in various levels of calligraphy competitions.
