Zhang Qi, male, courtesy name Mojiao, Han ethnicity, master of Yiheng Studio, was born in 1993 in Taihe, Anhui Province, a renowned hometown of Chinese painting and calligraphy. A young painter and calligrapher, he has been passionate about drawing since childhood, influenced by the artistic atmosphere of his hometown, and self-taught in traditional Chinese ink painting, specializing in freehand brushwork of flowers, birds, and insects. His works have been exhibited multiple times and have won numerous awards.
In September 2017, he was selected for the "8th China Painting and Calligraphy Competition" hosted by China Art Competition Network and received the Outstanding Work Award;
In June 2017, his work was exhibited at the Taihe County Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy "Ten Thousand People Program" Works Presentation Exhibition;
In January 2018, he was honored with the title of "Thousand-People Leader" under Taihe County's Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy Talent Cultivation "Ten Thousand People Program";
In October 2018, for his active contribution to the Fuyang City campaign "Ink and Brush Expressing Emotion, Supporting Poverty Alleviation," he was awarded the honorary title of "Love for Poverty Alleviation" Outstanding Cultural Worker;
In May 2019, his calligraphy work won the Outstanding Award in the Anhui Province Poetry, Couplet, and Painting Creation Competition.
