Qi Yongkui, style name Shiyan, is from Funan County, Anhui Province, an artist of painting and calligraphy.
Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Calligraphers' Association, member of the Qiqihar Artists' Association, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the China Financial Calligraphers' Association, member of the Bank of China Calligraphers' Association, director of the Qiqihar Calligraphers' Association, vice chairman of the Fulaerji District Calligraphers' Association.
Studied Chinese painting under Mr. Ju Beishuo in 1974; studied oil painting under Mr. Kang Zhongqin in 1975.
Personal Honors
1990 won the Excellent Award in the National Art and Calligraphy Photography "Yellow River Cup" Exhibition;
Won the Second Prize in the Heilongjiang Provincial Art and Calligraphy Photography Exhibition in 1992;
His work participated in the China Financial Art and Calligraphy Exhibition in 2011 and won an award;
Won the First Prize in the Qiqihar City Calligraphy Copying Exhibition in 2012;
In 2021, he was awarded "Inheritor of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Figures" by the Guoli Artist Website.
His works have participated in many city and provincial art and calligraphy exhibitions and have been collected.
