Zhang Xuan
Personal Profile
Zhang Xuan, male, born in March 1963, with a university education, is from Tianchang City, Anhui. Since 1985, he has worked successively in the Agricultural Science Research Institute of Suxian County, Anhui, and in towns such as Xinjie in Tianchang City. From an early age, Zhang Xuan has been deeply interested in painting and calligraphy, and he has devoted his spare time to practicing. He takes "learning from the ancients, learning from nature, and learning from outstanding peers" as his lifelong pursuit.
Personal Honors:
In September 2018, he won the bronze award in the Second National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of "Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" organized by Henan Province's Ten Thousand Cultural Arts Center;
In 2019, he participated successively in the calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, hosted by the Office of the Anhui Provincial People's Congress, the CPC Chuzhou Municipal Committee, the Municipal Government, and the Cultural Federation of Chuzhou City; the calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, hosted by the Tianchang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; the "Shanghai-Tianchang Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition" between Shanghai and Tianchang;
In 2020, he participated in the "Tianchang - Runzhou" calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition, and so on.
Currently, he is a member of the Chuzhou City Artists Association, a member of the Tianchang City Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Tianchang City Artists Association.
